Table Talk Pies, Inc., located in Worcester, MA, was started in 1924 by two Greek immigrants who came to America to build a better life for themselves and their families. Through a combination of hard work and perseverance, the two founders of the company, Mr. Theodore Tonna and Mr. Angelo Cotsidas, managed to build the strong foundation of a business that is today one of our country’s leading pie companies. The secret of their success was their unwavering commitment to producing the highest quality pie possible. It is this commitment, coupled with an emphasis on customer service, which has allowed our company to prosper for over 90 years. The second generation management and now the third generation has carried on this tradition. It is our emphasis on quality that continues to fuel our growth
Table Talk Pies are available in a wide variety of flavors that any customer would want, and they are all made with that famous Table Talk “Old Fashioned” recipe that is sure to delight. We manufacture the highest quality pies. We use the finest of ingredients, Wild Blueberries from Maine, New York Apples, Georgia Peaches, Pumpkins from the Amish farmlands of Pennsylvania, Sweet Potatoes grown in the rich soils of California and Pecans from Texas and Georgia.
Table Talk is one of the leading full line producers of pies, providing its customers with a wide range of sizes and formats. We specialize in 4 inch snack pies, selling over 3 million per week. We also have significant business in the larger dessert pies, particularly 8 inch. We are currently selling over 400,000 larger pies per week, and this number continues to grow.
Our 4 inch pies are sold in both fresh and thaw-and- sell formats. We participate in all major retail segments, including supermarkets, convenience stores and mass merchandisers. Our Pies are available nationwide through wholesalers and distributors across the U.S. Sales for fresh pies are focused on the northeast, while the thaw-and-sell pies are sold nationwide..
Table Talk offers Exclusive Branding in our 4 inch, 6 inch, 8 inch, 9 inch and 10 inch pies. We sell pies in both baked and unbaked formats, and in a variety of packaging styles. Our goal is to provide our customers with products that meet their needs.
We produce our pies in three facilities. Two plants are located in Worcester, MA and a third located in Shrewsbury MA. Our corporate HQ is located at our plant on Washington Street in Worcester, MA, opened in 1942. This plant is 150,000 sq. ft. and has 4 main pie lines, with three tunnel ovens and three spiral freezers. Our Shrewsbury plant which opened in 2015 is 40,000 sq. ft. and has two 2 main pie lines with two tunnel ovens and two spiral freezers. In September 2017 we opened our 3rd facility (50,000 sq. ft.) on Southgate Street in Worcester, MA. This plant, which is focused on 4 inch pie production, has two main pie lines, capable of producing over 1,000,000 4 inch pies per week.
Our total production capacity is over 4 million 4 inch, and close to 600,000 8 inch pies per week.
